Holiday Concerts Fast Approaching

Happy Holidays! See the calendar for our holiday concert schedule. The FHS Choraliers and Symphonic Choir will also join with the group "SonShip" to perform on Friday, December 16 at 7pm for "Sounds of the Season," featuring sacred music of Christmas. Tickets are $10 and are available from Choraliers or Symphonic members. The performance will be the high school Performing Arts Center.

Coming Soon! The Fairfield show choirs will debut their contest shows on January 6-7, 2012 at "Cocoa and Choirs" held at North Fairfield Baptist Church. Performance times are 7:30pm both Friday and Saturday nights. Choraliers, Pure Elegance, and Rhythm Express students will be selling tickets for $5!

Honors for the FHS Choral Department and Students

Congratulations to Sam Chenoweth and Eli Mathews, who have been selected for All-State Choir. They will perform with the top vocalists in the state at the Ohio Music Education Association's annual convention in Columbus, February 2012! Our top choir, the Fairfield Choraliers, have also been selected to be a guest performing ensemble at this event as well!

The Choraliers were chosen to perform at the Ohio School Boards Association's conference in November of 2011 as well. 

Last Spring, the Choraliers were formally accepted as the first U.S. show choir to qualify for participation in the WORLD CHOIR GAMES to be held in Cincinnati in Summer of 2012.  This is a huge honor, as the Choraliers will be representing their country at this "choir olympics"!
